GLOBAL BURDEN DISEASE 13 HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS 13 ACQUIRED IMMUNE DEFICIENCY SYNDROME (HIV-AIDS)

The Global Disease Burden "/ GBD become a standard of the WHO since 1990 to report
on global health information related to the environment, including diseases caused by
nutritional deficiencies and communication. One of it which increasing in prevalence and
need a serious attention is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The purpose
of writing this article is to expand the horizons of what is HIV-AIDS, its causes, risk
factors, epidemiology and prevalence, how the reduction mechanism of immunity to HIV
infection, clinical manifestations that may arise, any opportunistic infection leading cause
of death in patients infected with HIV, and other types of tests to detect HIV and
opportunistic infections.
