Abstract
Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah 1) mendeskripsikan penerapan Model Project- based Learning ; 2) mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak kelas VI SD. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahjenis penelitian Tindakan Kelas yaitu dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pengamatan, dan pelaksanaan yang diikuti refleksi. Data diperoleh dari metode observasi dan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak kelas VI sesuai dengan indikatorfluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Hasil penelitian ini, 1) aktivitas guru dalam penerapan model Project- Based Learning pada siklus I sebesar 75% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 88%; 2) kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam penerapan model Project- Based Learning pada siklus I yaitu 75% dan meningkat menjadi 88% pada siklus 11; 3) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak naik dari 72% pada siklus I naik menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, bahwa model Project- Based Learning telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik dan efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif; secara khusus, kecakapan siswa dalam menghasilkan ide, berpikir fleksibel, original, dan mengelaborasi proyek secara mendalam. Hal ini merupakan salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang sangat efektif dan selanjutnya akan menggunakan model Project- Based Learning.

Based on the background above, the objectives of this study are 1) to describe the implementation of the Project-based Leaming Model and 2) to describe the improvement of creative thinking skills of grade VI elementary school children. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research type, namely with two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, observation, and implementation followed by reflection. Data were obtained from the observation method and tests of creative thinking skills of grade VI children according to the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results of this study: 1) teacher activity in implementing the Project-Based Leaming model in cycle I was 75% and increased in cycle II to 88%; 2) students' creative thinking skills in implementing the Project-Based Leaming model in cycle I were 75% and increased to 88% in cycle 11; 3) the average creative thinking skills of children increased from 72% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II. This study concluded that the Project-Based Leaming model has been implemented very well and effectively and can improve creative thinking skills; specifically, students' skills in generating ideas, thinking flexibly, originally, and elaborating projects in depth. This is one of the very effective learning strategies, and we will then use the Project• Based Leaming model.
