Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kartu kata bergambar untuk meningkatkan pengembangan membaca permulaan anak kelompok A1 Di TK Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 58 Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one-group pre-test post-test design, pada penelitian ini hanya menggunakan kelas eksperimen saja yaitu kelompok A1 yang berjumlah 23 anak. Penelitian ini melalui 3 tahapan pre-test, treatment, dan post-test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menemukan bahwa perkembangan membaca permulaan anak terstimulasi dengan baik melalui metode bermain media kartu kata bergambar yang diterapakn pada anak yang dibuktikan dengan Test Wilcoxon melalui (Uji T) dengan taraf kesalahan 5% /0,05. Sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa terdapat meningkatkan perkembangan membaca permulaan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun dengan media Kartu Kata Bergambar. Pengaruh media kartu kata bergambar untuk meningkatkan membaca permulaan pada anak bisa terbukti ada peningkatan yang sangat baik yang dicapai oleh anak. Media ini bertujuan ini meningkatkan perkembangan membaca permulaan anak usia 4-5 tahun.

This study aims to determine the effect of picture word card media to improve the development of children's beginning reading group A1 at Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 58 Surabaya Kindergarten. The research method used is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research with a one-group pre-test post-test design, in this study only using the experimental class, namely group A1 which amounted to 23 children. This research goes through 3 stages of pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The results of the research conducted found that children's early reading development was well stimulated through the method of playing picture word card media that was applied to children as evidenced by the Wilcoxon Test through (T Test) with an error rate of 5% / 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in the development of early reading in children aged 4 - 5 years with Picture Word Card media. The effect of picture word card media to improve early reading in children can be proven there is a very good improvement achieved by children. This media aims to improve the development of early reading in children aged 4-5 years.
