Abstract
Latar Belakang : Rendahnya pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar terhadap Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) sering kali disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan tidak sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif anak. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa secara lebih efektif. Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas media permainan edukatif ular tangga dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas I MI Al-Munawwaroh Maor tentang PHBS. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus deskriptif dengan melibatkan 10 siswa kelas I di MI Al-Munawwaroh Maor. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pretest dan posttest yang menilai pengetahuan tentang PHBS Hasil : penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa sebelum penerapan permainan ular tangga edukatif, 70% siswa berada dalam kategori kurang, sementara setelah penerapan permainan ular tangga edukatif, 70% siswa berada dalam kategori baik. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme, fokus, dan keterlibatan aktif selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Kesimpulan : Media permainan edukatif ular tangga efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetauhan siswa terhadap PHBS dan dapat dijadikan strategi altematif dalam pembelajaran kesehatan dasar di sekolah dasar.

Background : The low level of understanding among elementary school students regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is often caused by unengaging teaching methods that do not align with children's cognitive development stages. An interactive and enjoyable learning approach is needed to improve students' knowledge more effectively. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the educational snakes and ladders game in improving first-grade students' understanding of CHLB at MI Al• Munawwaroh Maor.Method: This study used a descriptive case study design involving
10 first-grade students at MI Al-Munawwaroh Maor. Data were collected through
pretest and posttest questionnaires assessing CHLB knowledge. Results : The study showed an improvement in students' knowledge after the implementation of the educational snakes and ladders game. Prior to the intervention, 70% of students were in the low knowledge category, whereas after the intervention, 70% were in the good knowledge category. In addition, students demonstrated enthusiasm, focus, and active participation throughout the learning process. Conclusion: The educational snakes and ladders game is effective in enhancing students' knowledge of CHLB and can be considered an alternative strategy for basic health education in elementary schools.
