Analisis Penerimaan Telemedicine pada Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya dengan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

Telemedicine merupakan inovasi bidang kesehatan yang membantu dalam konsultasi online jarak jauh sehingga fleksibel digunakan di manapun. Akan tetapi dari data yang ada, pengguna telemdicine masih terbilang sedikit, khususnya pada mahasiswa. Padahal dengan kelebihan yang ada, telemedicine seharusnya dapat menjadi solusi mahasiswa yang memiliki jadwal padat untuk mengatasi permasalahan kesehatan mereka dengan konsultasi kesehatan jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, penerimaan telemedicine pada mahasiswa menjadi dipertanyakan sehingga dilakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penerimaan telemedicine pada mahasiswa dengan teori Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) sebagai variabel. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya yang dipilih secara random untuk dijadikan responden dan diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner penelitian. Data dari 100 responden yang didapat kemudian diolah dengan aplikasi SmartPLS dan dilakukan analisis. Hasil penelitian dengan signifikansi 10% didapatkan persepsi kemudahan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap penggunaan telemedicine (p-value : 0.046, t-statistic : 1.690), persepsi kegunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap penggunaan telemedicine (p-value : 0.009, t-statistic : 2.379), sikap penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat perilaku penggunaan telemedicine (p-value : 0.000, t-statistic : 7.333), dan minat perilaku penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan telemedicine secara aktual (p-value : 0.000, t-statistic : 3.557). Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa keempat faktor TAM, yaitu persepsi kemudahan, persepsi kegunaan, sikap penggunaan, dan minat perilaku penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerimaan telemedicine pada mahasiswa.

Telemedicine is an innovation in the healthcare sector that facilitates remote online consultations, making it flexible to use from any location. However, based on existing data, the number of telemedicine users remains relatively low, particularly among university students. Despite its advantages, telemedicine should ideally serve as a practical solution for students with busy schedules to address their health concerns through remote medical consultations. Therefore, the acceptance of telemedicine among students is in question, which prompted this study. This research aims to identify the factors influencing the acceptance of telemedicine among university students, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the theoretical framework. This study used a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, who were randomly selected to participate as respondents and were asked to complete a research questionnaire. Data collected from 100 respondents were
analyzed using the SmartPLS application. The results, analyzed at a 10% significance level, showed that perceived ease of use had a significant influence on the attitude toward using telemedicine (p-value: 0.046, t-statistic: 1.690), perceived usefulness significantly influenced the attitude toward using telemedicine (p-value: 0.009, t-statistic: 2.379), attitude toward use significantly influenced behavioral intention to use telemedicine (p-value: 0.000, t-statistic: 7.333), and behavioral intention significantly influenced actual use of telemedicine (p-value: 0.000, t statistic: 3.557). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that all four TAM factors—perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention-significantly influence the acceptance of telemedicine among university students.
