Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotion regulation and self- efficacy and resilience in final year students in Surabaya. A sample of 252 final year students in Surabaya was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The scales used in this study were developed from the constructs of each theory. Data were collected using a Likert scale and analyzed using product-moment correlations and multiple correlations. The results showed a positive relationship between emotion regulation and self-efficacy and resilience in final-year students (R = 52,7%, Significant Difference = 0,000). The correlation between emotional regulation and resilience is categorized as moderate, while self-efficacy is categorized as high. This research indicates that the higher a student’s emotional regulation and self efficacy, the higher their resillience.
