Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kontrol diri dan perilaku bullying terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) pada siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya ditinjau dari pola asuh orang tua. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang mengukur kontrol diri, perilaku bullying, dan pola asuh orang tua. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 67 siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji ANOVA dan korelasi product-moment Pearson dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics versi 25. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat
perilaku bullying berdasarkan pola asuh orang tua (p = 0,603), namun terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada tingkat kontrol diri siswa ditinjau dari pola asuh orang
tua (p = 0,006). Uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dan perilaku bullying (r = -0,633; p < 0,01). Hubungan negatif juga ditemukan pada masing-masing kelompok pola asuh, yaitu otoriter (r = -0,449; p < 0,05), demokratis (r = -0,673; p < 0,01), dan permisif (r = -0,654; p < 0,001). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kontrol diri siswa, maka semakin rendah kecenderungan perilaku bullying terhadap ABK, terlepas dari perbedaan pola asuh orang tua.

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-control and bullying behavior toward children with special needs (ABK) among students of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya, as viewed from the perspective of parenting styles. The study used a quantitative approach, collecting data through a Likert-scale questionnaire that measured self-control, bullying behavior, and parenting styles.
The study sample consisted of 67 eighth-grade students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using ANOVA and Pearson
product-moment correlation using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25. The ANOVA results showed no significant difference in the level of bullying behavior based on
parenting style (p = 0.603), but there was a significant difference in the level of student self-control based on parenting style (p = 0.006). The Pearson correlation
test showed a significant negative relationship between self-control and bullying behavior (r = -0.633; p < 0.01). A negative relationship was also found in each parenting style group, namely authoritarian (r = -0.449; p < 0.05), democratic (r = -0.673; p < 0.01), and permissive (r = -0.654; p < 0.001). This study shows that the higher the student's self-control, the lower the tendency for bullying behavior towards children with special needs, regardless of differences in parenting style.
