Abstract

Latar Belakang: Anak dengan gangguan motorik sebagian besar mengalami gangguan stabilitas postural dan keterbatasan kemampuan duduk mandiri yang berdampak pada aktivitas sehari-hari. Fisioterapi berperan penting dalam memberikan latihan Trunk Control berbasis Neurodevelopmental Treatment, yaitu latihan yang difokuskan pada kontrol dan kekuatan otot trunk. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan Trunk control berbasis Neurodevelopmental Treatment terhadap stabilitas postural dan kemampuan duduk mandiri anak dengan gangguan motorik di Klinik Utama Jati Asih Medika. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel berjumlah 11 anak yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dari 42 anak dengan gangguan motorik. Intervensi berupa latihan Trunk Control berbasis Neurodevelopmental Treatment diberikan sebanyak 12 sesi selama 4 minggu dengan durasi 30 menit per sesi. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo) untuk aspek stabilitas postural serta Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) dimensi B untuk menilai kemampuan duduk anak. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan Trunk Control berbasis Neurodevelopmental Treatment berpengaruh signifikan (p>0,05). Terjadi peningkatan SATCo sebesar 16,37% dari 3,36±1,286 menjadi 3,91±1,814. Pada pengukuran GMFM-B terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,22% dari 20,45±6,654 menjadi 23,55±8,904. Kesimpulan: Latihan Trunk Control berbasis Neurodevelopmental Treatment memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara statistik.

Background: Children with motor disorder often experience postural instability and limited independent sitting ability, which impacts daily activities. Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in providing Neurodevelopmental Treatment-based Trunk Control exercises, which focus on trunk muscle control and strength. Objective: To determine the effect of Neurodevelopmental Treatment-based Trunk Control exercises on postural stability and independent sitting ability in children with motor impairments at the Main Clinic of Jati Asih Medika. Research Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 11 children was selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria from a pool of 42 children with motor impairments. The intervention, Neurodevelopmental Treatment-based Trunk Control exercises, was administered in 12 sessions over four weeks, each lasting 30 minutes. Measurements were conducted using the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo) instrument for postural stability and the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) dimension B to assess the children's sitting ability. Results: The study showed a significant effect of Neurodevelopmental Treatment-based Trunk Control exercises (p>0.05). SATCo increased by 16.37%, from 3.36±1.286 to 3.91±1.814. GMFM-B measurements increased by 15.22%, from 20.45±6.654 to 23.55±8.904. Conclusion: Neurodevelopmental Treatment-based Trunk Control exercises have a statistically significant effect.
