Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan bagaimana pengembangan sumber daya manusia dapat mendorong inovasi para pelaku MSME’S di Sentra Wisata Kuliner (SWK) Jambangan Surabaya. Penurunan jumlah pedagang dari tahun ke tahun menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan penguatan kapasitas pelaku usaha, terutama dalam kreativitas, pengelolaan usaha, dan pemanfaatan teknologi.
Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen, penelitian menemukan bahwa pelatihan, peningkatan pengetahuan, serta pembentukan sikap profesional berpengaruh pada kemampuan inovasi pedagang. Pelaku yang adaptif dan terbuka terhadap pembelajaran lebih mampu mengembangkan variasi produk, meningkatkan pelayanan, serta memanfaatkan media digital. Sebaliknya, pedagang yang tetap pada pola lama cenderung mengalami stagnasi usaha.
Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa pengembangan SDM merupakan faktor kunci untuk mendorong inovasi dan menjaga keberlanjutan MSME’S di SWK Jambangan.

This study aims to describe how human resource development can encourage innovation of MSME’S in the Jambangan Culinary Tourism Center (SWK) in Surabaya. The year-over-year decline in the number of vendors indicates a need to strengthen the capacity of business owners, particularly in creativity, business management, and technology utilization.
Using a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document studies, the study found that training, increased knowledge, and the development of professional attitudes influence the innovation capabilities of vendors. Vendors who are adaptive and open to learning are better able to develop product variations, improve services, and utilize digital media. Conversely, vendors who stick to old patterns tend to experience business stagnation.
The research results confirm that human resource development is a key factor in driving innovation and maintaining the sustainability of MSME’S in the Jambangan SWK.
