Pengaruh Self-Efficacy terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Ditinjau dari Jenis Kelamin

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa secara keseluruhan serta pada siswa laki-laki dan perempuan kelas X Manajemen Perkantoran (MP) 2 dan MP 3 SMK Wachid Hasyim Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional kausal melalui metode survei (ex post facto). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket self efficacy dan dokumentasi nilai ulangan harian matematika siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 65 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan aplikasi Jamovi setelah data memenuhi uji prasyarat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa secara keseluruhan. Self efficacy juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa laki-laki. Selain itu, self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa perempuan. Dengan demikian, self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, baik secara keseluruhan maupun pada kelompok siswa laki-laki dan perempuan.

This study aimed to determine the effect of self-efficacy on students’ mathematics learning outcomes overall and among male and female students in Grade X Office Management (MP) 2 and MP 3 at SMK Wachid Hasyim Surabaya. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal correlational design using an ex post facto survey method. Data were collected through a self-efficacy questionnaire and documentation of students’ mathematics daily test scores. The research sample consisted of 65 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of Jamovi after the data met the prerequisite tests for analysis. The results showed that self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on students’ mathematics learning outcomes overall. Self-efficacy also had a positive and significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of male students. In addition, self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of female students. Thus, self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on students’ mathematics learning outcomes, both overall and among male and female students.
